Locale artist member Sophie Gibson on motivation and confidence as an artist:

"I think I take a lot of inspiration from all different types of art forms and Artists. I feel it is incredibly important to keep up to date with whats going on in the art world, who's making what and who's showing where. Whilst being aware of what has been said with art and knowing what you can do with art motivates me onto the next piece. 

As for confidence, I'm not sure if it really exists but I stay true to myself as an Artist and believe in the work I make."
